Gwent based community projects will be able to apply to the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for a share of £250,000 in cash seized from criminals and from the sale of unclaimed found property for 2017-18. Since 9am today (Thursday December 1st), Gwent PCC Jeff Cuthbert’s Partnership Fund has been open for bids from charities, voluntary organisations and community groups involved in activities that have a positive impact on their communities whilst at the same time contributing towards delivering the Commissioner’s priorities. Running the London Marathon

On Sunday 23rd April 2017, I will be running the London Marathon in aid of Alzheimer's society. I'll be the first to admit this is a MASSIVE. challenge for someone like myself who is miles away from your average athlete and hasn't come close to running a full marathon before!! I'm trying to raise as much money as possible for the Alzheimer's Society, because this is a charity very close to my heart. A few important people close to me have suffered with the disease. Festive Fun

With calves in the stall nearby and presents heaped in the manger it was a fitting setting for some festive fun. The singing of away in the manger to the tune of silent night proved challenging but it could not be more apt. Having Ioan on keyboard makes all the difference when it comes to singing carols and it made it very enjoyable. This year Santa returned again to the delight of the young and the old!
