Hedgehog Care

StartFragmentTHE NURSERIES, LANGSTONE. Please share! Urgent! Poorly mother hedgehog and one hoglet has just come into care. This hoglet is 128g and is peeping for food. There is probably the rest of the litter somewhere and they are without their mum. PLEASE keep yours eyes and ears open. If there are others (they average 5 a litter) then they will start to leave the nest to look for mum. It's extremely important they come into HedgehogHelpline care as soon as possible. They are too young and not yet weaned and will not make it alone. Call the Hedgehog Helpline on 07557 646773. PLEASE SHARE esp if know people who live near LANGSTONE VILLAGE HALL or THE NURSERIES, Langstone. Thank you. EndFra

All hands to the tiller

Hi everyone As we are attending the Gardener's world event at Birmingham on 17 June we have had to rearrange the clean up of the village ready for Wales in Bloom judge who is visiting on 3 July. We will now be holding the clean up on Sunday 25 June at 10 am, meeting on the village green. We will be strimming, litter picking etc and doing all we can to ensure we can 'go for gold'. The hanging baskets are in hand, Anthony Halse doing the baskets and Tony doing the brackets. There will be 7 around the village and we will be having a hanging session in the near future.
