
The Big Midsummer Tea
This year the mid summer event will be held in the field at tthe rear of Oakdale Cottage. Packed with plenty of fun and games (wellie wanging included!) as well as tea it is destined to be a great afternoon. There will be two marquees so no trouble about rain, plus a bonus of toilets and parking. Start time is 3 pm All offers of sandwiches, cakes and scones will be greatfully accepted for this event, Bring on the day but if you are able to tell Sue or jacqui what you will be

Nearing the end of its life!
The community mower has drawn its last breath so plans are going ahead to find a replacement. All monies raised at the Big tea, The Fish and Chip Supper etc will go to the newly established 'mower fund'

Hamlet Concerns
a. Pavements and Drainage Streetscene visited with Will Routley, and confirmed that the pavements were on a list to be repaired. Jacqui has measured the gaps in the pavement with a 50p piece, and will send photos to NCC. HS to raise a job on re-fixing the sign to Pencoed Lane. b. Lending a helping hand
Could you lend a hand? We’re going to spend a couple of hours on Sunday 10th June, from 10:30am, up at The Patch. Some old footage of an event at The Patch has reminded us all of how much space is now covered by brambles and weeds, so we’d like to clear some of it back and reclaim some space for future events.
