Hunt returns to Hamlet after 25 years
We drank toddy and munched on traditional fayre as the hunt assembled ready for the off. This was the first time in 25 years that it had left from Court farm. With the scent trail laid ( no foxes are harmed in a modern day hunt) the horn was blown and around thirty riders of all ages were off on the chase over the fields. We caught up with them again later. The hounds seemed to have lost the trail but once found they were away again.
