This year a few Llanmartin residents joined Llandevaud for their Harvest Supper. It began with a service in a packed church before a hog roast with plenty of extras, apple crumble and cheese and biscuits in the village hall. There was an Auction of produce and promises with all the proceeds going to the Tearfund charity to support a village in Africa. These included a trip up the Prince of Wales Bridge Towers, meals out, taxi to the airports etc.
The evening concluded with songs from the folk singer Jeff Williams who lives in Parc Seymour and has a large following on the South coast. Over £1,000 was raised. Well done to all concerned.
