The smell of sausages and burgers cooking on the new BBQ had the dogs noses twitching and the friends and neighbours who had gathered together in the community patch anxious to tuck in. They were not disappointed for they were delicious. So too were the desserts which followed.
It was enough just to chill out and interact with neighbours but Mark’s treasure map was an added attraction and there was some serious thought given as to where the treasure might be. The young winner however took a more pot luck approach ! The raffle too was well received and raised a good sum.
It was great to have such perfect weather and the party tent gave many some welcome shade. To create such a good time takes a lot of planning and hard work and so many are to be thanked for their contribution. Together great things can be achieved.
